First, introduce yourself and your role(s) in filmmaking.

Hi, My name is David Dginguerian. I’m an entrepreneur but always had a passion for film making. Between the films my wife (Amy Weber) works on and/or acts in and being surround by talented guys as my producing partners Shervin Yousseffian and Danny Simonzod, I believe it was a calling to produce a feature film.

What is your filmmaking background?

I married into the business, lol. And I also believe if you have a passion for something, It always works out in your favor. What’s the saying, do what you love and it’s not called work.

When did you first develop an interest in producing Christian films?

God did a miracle in our lives and blessed us with twins after the doctors said that kids were not going to be in our future due to the cervical cancer Amy had in her past. So because of this, I wanted to do something positive and give back that joy of hope and that’s when I decided to do a Christian film so that I can share the power of God’s love for each and everyone and touch many hearts through Christian films such as “Crossroad”.

What led you to take an interest in “Crossroad” movie?

As soon as I started reading the script, I was hooked. For those of you who have watched the film, you know what I’m talking about. The film keeps you in your seat and you don’t want to blink because you don’t want to miss anything. I was so into the script, page by page and I just LOVED it. After I read it, I sat with Amy, Shervin and Danny and told them this film had to be made.

Tell us about your involvement with “Crossroad”.

I’ve been a business man most my life so I took the role of the executive producer. I helped with the funds so that we can take the movie from paper and put it on the big screen. We work great as a team so we were all involved in just about everything.

What is your vision for “Crossroad”?

I would like as many people as possible to watch the film. Whether that be believers or non-believers. There are so many films out these days that are not motivating and inspiring. We love hearing the comments we get from those who watch the film. We really enjoy interacting with them on our Facebook page. ( This just shows we need more uplifting films in Hollywood.

What can you tell us about your upcoming projects?

The experience with “Crossroad” has been amazing. Shervin has been writing for our next film but I can’t give much away yet. So another film is in the works. I also produce music with Amy. We just released Amy’s new single “Warrior” which has a Christian message in it as well.

Any word yet on whether or not Tim Tebow will be playing a starring role in your next movie?

We would love to have him star in our next film, still working on that.

Anything else?

Thank you FaithFlixFilms for this wonderful interview, To everyone that supports Christian films, Thank you. If anyone hasn’t had a chance to watch “Crossroad”, they can get it just about anywhere. They can also get merchandising as well if they buy it from our site which is
