Wow! My mind is in overload trying to absorb all that we’ve experienced today. It will take awhile to process and to share all the wonderful things we’ve learned and tell you about the amazing people we’ve interviewed, but in the meantime, here are photos of some of the highlights.
The day kicked off with an amazing worship service.Joni Eareckson Tada sang the theme song from Alone Yet Not Alone. So excited about this movie and all that God is doing with it.We were blessed with an unexpected interview with Shari Rigby, the actress who plays the birth mom on October Baby.William Federer is a familiar face on news talk shows. He’s also the author of a ton of books including one of my all time favorites, God and Country.Great interview with the stars from The Identical, Erin Cottrell and Blake RayneWhat a treat to meet Erika and Libby, two enterprising young eighth graders who started their own magazine for Christian girls.Got to talk to David A.R. White about his upcoming movie God’s Not Dead.Torry Martin is a member of the newly formed NRB Film Commission. Torry played the homeless guy in our movie The Good Book.
You never know who you’re going to run into at the convention.John Schlitt, former lead singer of Petra, has an upcoming movie (Adrenaline) and is working on a tv sitcom pilot (Rock in a Hard Place).It’s hard to have a good hair day when you stand next to John Schlitt.Writer/Director/Producer Daniel Lusko shared about his upcoming movie Persecuted.Rabbi Ken Spiro enlightened us on his 7 part course on Israel.Brittany and Clay outside the exhibit hall. The exhibit hall opened today at noon.Back again tomorrow for another exciting day at NRB Convention at Opryland in Nashville, Tennessee.
