If you’ve ever watched Hallmark Channel, you’re familiar with the popular series When Calls the Heart. What you may not know is that there’s now a devotional book to go along with the series. Brian Bird, executive producer and co-creator of the series, has teamed up with author Michelle Cox to create When God Calls the Heart, a collection of forty devotions based on the stories and characters in the series.  Each chapter contains a quote from one of the characters, a Scripture verse, a devotional reflection, a prayer, and a dig deeper question.

Brian and Michelle have been touring the country promoting the book and making appearances on Hallmark’s Home and Family show. I was blessed to catch up with them at the NRB convention and get a little behind the scenes glimpse into the book and the show.
