I’m Sharon Wilharm, a filmmaker, blogger, and speaker. My husband and I just released Summer of ’67, our seventh feature film. Prior to our filmmaking days, we ran an antique mall, and before that a chain of coin-laundries. Each of our endeavors has involved massive amounts of marketing and promotion. We’ve noticed that our most effective marketing campaigns were all based on out of the box creativity rather than throwing out wads of cash. So now, as we wind down our filmmaking, I’m excited to share with others what we’ve learned about MONEYLESS MARKETING.
MONEYLESS MARKETING is all about branding and marketing for ordinary folks. They’re simple and effective. Many will be free. Some will be low cost. They’ll all be based on experience and results.
While much of my marketing advice is geared for filmmakers, actors, authors, and other creatives, the principals work for anyone who’s trying to promote themselves and their products or business. In fact, branding and marketing truths apply to everyone. Each time we open our mouths or post on social media, we’re revealing information about ourselves. What are you revealing? Does it reflect who you really are? Did you know branding can help you become who you’d like to be? I’m excited to help you share with the world who you are as you strive to become who you’d like to be.
