I know you’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but I love creative titles and beautiful books. Nicki Corinne White’s book It’s Not About the Pie; A Fresh Look at Hospitality definitely draws me in with it’s fun title and its beautiful cover and layout.

The Bible teaches us the importance of showing hospitality, but too often we get caught up with this idea that hospitality is all about impressing others with fancy dishes and elegant table settings. We think we can only play hostess if we live in a showplace. Nicki debunks those thoughts and demonstrates how easy it can be to open our homes to those around us.
