For years I’ve heard about the amazing Christian Product Expo in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, only it wasn’t open to media, so we couldn’t attend. Then, this year I got an email from Lori Heiselman, founder of Biscuit Media Group, inviting us to be part of the media coverage of this year’s CPE. I’m so glad she did.
We go to a lot of industry events, and each one is different. What I loved about CPE is the encouraging atmosphere and the spiritualness that prevailed. Everywhere we went, everyone we met, it was “How can I help you?” rather than “What can you do for me?” I love that!
So, what did we do at CPE? We interviewed twenty authors, ate an incredible (free) meal, walked around the expo hall, and then met even more authors at the Author Meet and Greet. I also met sister members of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association and fellow speakers at Exceptional Keynote Speakers (official launch date 9/1/19). What a treat to meet in person women I’ve admired online and discover they’re even more special in person.
