Summer of '67 - It's a Wrap! — Sharon Wilharm

Yesterday was our final day of filming Summer of ’67. It’s a bittersweet time as we say goodbye to all the wonderful friends we’ve made on the first leg of our journey. We were blessed with the most amazingly talented cast and crew who each made their own unique contributions to Summer of ’67 to make it the very best we could hope for.

Milly (Rachel Schrey) and Kate (Bethany Davenport) get ready for a rousing game of pinochle with their friends Linda (Brittany Juilfs) and Nancy (Nikki Cohn-Byrd – not shown).

Ruby Mae (Sharonne Lanier) gets a telegram from the telegram delivery man (Andy Turner).

Friday we filmed our most dramatic scene in the movie.

Throughout filming we kept a supply of popsicles and ice cream on hand for cast and crew (Colt and Crimson Rose Sugg).

Saturday we were blessed to film the wedding, church, and Decoration Day scenes at Bridge Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
