Welcome to my page! As you can see, I’m a filmmaker, blogger, speaker, and now ministry leader. For the past decade I’ve worked alongside my husband producing seven faith-based feature films. They’ve screened in theaters, churches, and festivals around the globe. They’ve gone to places I’ll never go, spoken to audiences I’ll never meet, and impacted lives in ways I’ll never know.

In 2013 I began blogging about faith-based films. I enjoy interviewing filmmakers, actors, and anyone else involved in the industry. I love reviewing and promoting movies. I’ve recently added authors and book reviews to the mix. If you go to my Faith Flix blog page, you can find hundreds of articles related to Christian entertainment.

Whenever I get a chance, you can find me doing Q and A times at movie screenings or teaching screenwriting and visual storytelling at film festivals and writers conferences.

This winter I added another hat to my wardrobe – Women’s Ministry Director at our local church. Who would have imagined that the woman who spent most of her life avoiding women’s activities would end up leading them? But I love it! I love that God allows me to combine my film background and apply it in a ministry setting. Only God!

Films

I tell stories from a female perspective striving to impact lives through the power of film. Each of these stories embraces the challenges and struggles of being a woman.
Young filmmakers Colt and Crimson Rose Sugg at Summer of '67 red carpet premiere

Ms. Sharon Wilharm is an inspiring woman who shines God’s love! I absolutely love what she shared, it was founded in truth and very encouraging!

Crimson Rose Sugg – Filmmaker

“Sharon is down to earth, in the trenches, not afraid to get in, get dirty and inspire others to rise up and follow their purpose, using every gifting available”

Sharon Wilharm wows an audience, and they can’t help but be drawn in. The ways she teaches…the stories, the visuals—worth hearing and seeing!

Hannah Conway – Best Selling Author

Our church was so thrilled for Sharon & Fred Wilharm to come and speak, as well as show their latest film, Summer of ’67. Not only was her story moving, we were so grateful the way the film raised conversation and brought people of all ages together. We were brought to both tears and laughter, and I hope we can have them back sometime!

Meghan Weyerbacher – Author of Organic Love

Sharon is so encouraging. As she presented her amazing life story, her words were stirring and uplifting. How God’s plan prevailed, unfolding in her life story, was presented as comfortably as “the girl next door”—but what an awesome neighbor! Sharon’s easy and comfortable style in communicating with an audience, made an entertaining informative session. And her beauty shines like Light from within.

Six years ago I started my blog with the intent to interview indie film folks and share their stories. Over the years, though, the blog has expanded to include books, music, marking, and more. Visit the blog page to find hundreds of articles and interviews, all sorted by category.
