The Timeless Truths Bible shares similarities with the Life Counsel Bible, but whereas the Life Counsel Bible features current authors and information geared specifically for today’s world, Timeless Truths Bible features wisdom from the ages that has persevered. The subtitle is “One Faith Handed Down For All the Saints.” It features those commom beliefs shared by Christians through the ages.

I’ll admit that many of the creeds and confessions were new to me. I may have heard of some of them, but was not familiar with the actual teachings. Some I had a hard time understanding, but it made me want to study and research to learn more. I’m looking forward to learning more about some of these ancient leaders and Bible scholars so that I might better understand their teachings.

While this is certainly a useful Bible for any Christian, it would be of particular interest for pastors. It’s a great reference with all these timeless resources available within the pages of the Bible.
