Every Woman’s Bible is designed so that each woman reading it can discover for herself how much God loves her.

I love reviewing Bibles! Each one is different, designed for a different audiences and with different focuses. I love study Bibles, devotional Bibles, children’s Bibles, Bibles geared for casual readers, and Bibles for scholars.
Every Woman’s Bible is unique in that it isn’t specifically a study Bible (although it includes much study material). It’s not a devotional Bible (even though it has plenty of devotional type stories). It’s not a niche Bible geared for a very specific audience. It’s literally a Bible for every woman who is reading the Bible and searching for what it has to say specifically to her.
My review of the Every Woman’s Bible may come with a slight bias, for, you see, I am one of the hundred contributors from around the world who provided stories and content for the Bible. With that said, let me start by sharing my testimony of how that came to be.
Every Woman’s Bible Testimony
2020 and 2021 were difficult years for me, as I’m sure they were for many of you. Everything shut down. Events were cancelled. Opportunities were limited. It seemed every time I tried to walk through a door, it was slammed shut in my face.
But then at the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022, things shifted for me. God began opening doors. In fact, he swung open doors that I’d been knocking on for years. He brought to life desires of my heart from my youth.
One morning in March 2022, I was having a time of praise and worship prayer time. I thanked God for all the amazing answers to prayer. I thanked him for showering me way beyond anything I’d expected. I told Him He’d blessed me with every heart’s desire I could imagine. Then, as I said that, a thought popped into my head. I suddenly had a new desire.
I told God He’d done so much for me I hated to ask for more, but perhaps someday, maybe, I could be a contributor to a Bible. As soon as the words tumbled out of my mouth, I was in shock. Where had they come from?

It wasn’t anything I’d really thought of before, and I had no idea how that even worked. So I dismissed it and didn’t give it any thought until two weeks later when I got an email from Naomi Cramer Overton, editor of Every Woman’s Bible. She’d run across my blog about Euodia and Syntyche and asked if I’d be interested in writing about them for the Every Woman’s Bible.
Once I got over the shock that someone was looking up the two very obscure Bible women, I couldn’t stop crying at the amazement of how God had worked. It wasn’t just that He opened up this opportunity. It was that He first planted the seed of desire two weeks earlier. How cool is that?
Putting together a Bible is a long process, so it took over two years from the time I got that email until I held the Bible in my hands, but it is so worth the wait. This is an amazing Bible, and I am extremely thankful that God has allowed me to be a part of it.

Every Woman’s Bible Review
Let me begin by saying this Bible is a beautiful Bible. I have the gold dust leatherlike, and it has such a soft feel and the gold glimmers. The edges of the pages are also gold tipped.
One of the first things you’ll note when you open the Bible is a page for you to write out your personal testimony of how you met Jesus and important dates in your spiritual walk.
The Every Woman’s Bible is very user-friendly. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out how to make the most of Bible features, but that’s not the case with this one. All the supplemental features are placed right where they connect with the scripture.
Everything about this Bible is designed to make the Word of God come to life for women. There’s nothing here that’s gimicky or that steals the focus from the Word. It’s all about drawing women closer to God through Bible study.
Each book of the Bible opens with a summary description, feature highlights, timeline, and even a chart to show how long it should take you to read it. How cool is that?
Study notes are included on each page and Bible features are interspersed. These features include: Image (articles on finding God’s design for your life), Identity (showcase stories of Bible men and women), Come Closer (devotionals), Perspective (deep dives into hard to understand passages, especially those pertaining to women), What the Bible Says About (themes in the Bible), Insight (charts, maps, and graphs), She Says (quotes from Christian women), Scripture Pause (script lettering of inspiring verses), and Words to Remember (highlighted scriptures).
In addition to these features, between the Old Testament and New Testament is a special insert that helps women to find their purpose in life. What has God called you to do? Who are your people? What is your mission?
Finally, the back of the Bible is loaded with additional resources and indexes to all the various features scattered throughout.
As if all this wasn’t enough the Every Woman’s Bible is filament enabled which means you can find scan to find additional helps available online.
The Every Woman’s Bible uses the New Living Translation. I’d heard of it but wasn’t that familiar with it. I’ve discovered that it’s written to be as accurate as possible but in a conversational style. It’s the perfect introductory translation for someone new to Bible study without compromising accuracy.
Whether you’re a newbie Christian or a long term Bible scholar, the Every Woman’s Bible has something to offer you. You’ll be sure to grow in your spiritual walk as you read through the Bible and all its features.
