The NKJV Outreach Bible is a New Testament large print Bible perfect for those on the go, lending itself well to sharing the Gospel.
Every Bible is different. Some are designed for children. Others for teens. Many are specific to women or men. You can find devotional Bibles, study Bibles, reference Bibles, journaling Bibles, even graphic Bibles. Then some are simple. The NKJV Outreach is one of those.
First Impression of NKJV Outreach Bible

When it first came in the mail, I wasn’t sure at first what it was. It doesn’t look like a Bible. It looks like an ordinary paperback book with a contemporary-styled cover complete with back cover copy. It’s small–only 245 pages, yet it’s large print.
Nothing about this little book screams Bible, yet it is the complete New Testament.
I’ve got to admit, I held it in my hand for awhile trying to figure out what to make of it. It seemed so simple and unimpressive, but as I continued staring at it, I realized, the simplicity, the unassuming nature is what makes this Bible special.

Outreach Bible Review
Many years ago when I was in college, we used to do this silly skit and perform it for churches. In the skit a woman was sitting alone on a bench and three “Christians” came by to witness to her. One of those held a giant Bible and slung it in the air, almost hitting her in the head with it. The message of the skit was not to hit people over the head with the gospel but rather to meet them where they are.
The Outreach Bible made me think back to that skit. It’s the antithesis of the head thumping giant Bible. It’s the perfect Bible to carry anywhere. It’s small and can be easily tossed into a suitcase or even purse. It can be pulled out and read anywhere without calling attention to itself. It’s a great resource to always have on hand and whip out whenever a conversation leads into a biblical discussion.
At under $5, the Outreach Bible is a great Bible to stock up on and hand out at will. Give them as gifts or prizes. Give them to complete strangers. How many other gifts can you give for that price that have the power to change lives? I can’t think of many.
In addition to the cover I received, it also comes in a scenic image of mountains. You can also get it in KJV.
